1. Progress of Sorts!

In the last Newsletter I was expecting the builders to come for one weeks work. After three weeks the work is done and the rest is waiting for my DIY skills to be deployed. I must not complain as they were all very nice gents and had to overcome a few challenges along the way. All part of life’s rich tapestry! My art studio downstairs is back in use and my lounge is functioning as normal.

I have submitted four paintings from my up and coming release of “Eternal Existence” to the Tor Abbey Torbay Guild Exhibition this month so if anyone wishes an advance sneak peek of my art along with many other fine artworks by other guild members you will not be disappointed.

I have been painting from inspired thought in the last couple of months and have been surprised at how different the final artworks are compared to my initial expectations. I guess this shows that the inspiration and artwork is not being contaminated with my own logical thinking. My artwork “Who am I as a whole soul” which I started in the last newsletter is shown here. I anticipated it to be a pure abstract piece, however as I progressed it morphed into an abstract representational artwork. I was pleased with the result, so am happy.

I wonder if anyone else would be interested in having their spiritual essence depicted in colour?

A brush in hand brings moments of peace, a smile each day is our masterpiece - welcome to my artistic sanctuary.

2. AI For Humanity

What does the AI Boom really mean for humanity? The Future Hannah Fry.

If you are like me you may already be experiencing some of the benefits of AI technology and on the flip side heard about the warnings that AI may become the tool that eliminates the human race. This video by Hannah Fry may answer some of those questions and perhaps hopefully put your mind at rest. I found the most interesting aspect was at the end of the video when she talks to a neuro scientist who is mapping the brain of a simple worm. Please enjoy!
